Due to their high torque, Sullivan starter motors have been used in a variety of applications other than model engine starting. Bulk motors with quantity discounts are available, and replacement parts for older Sullivan Starters can be obtained directly from Sullivan. Hornet Starter. For small airplane engines to .12 size, the 12V Hornet features a high RPM motor, heavy duty bronze switch and a reversible silicone drive adapter. It is easy to hold with smaller hands. Ideal for Cox® and Norvel® size engines. Comes with alligator clips preattached, and can bolt onto the PowerPac for complete portability. Uses replacement Silicone adapter S622. 12 VDC operation, maximum 25 amps. No. S598.

Hi-Tork Starter. The original standard Sullivan starter for many years. Features a plastic drive cone, 2.50" diameter steel body and yellow end caps. 12 VDC operation, maximum 80 amps. 210 in-oz (148 N-cm) of stall torque. 5500 no load RPM. For most engines up to 0.60 cubic inches (10 cc) and many to 1.20 cubic inches. No. S600.

Deluxe Hi-Tork Starter. The most popular Sullivan starter. Features a machined aluminum drive cone with pulley groove, 2.50" diameter steel body and yellow end caps. 12 VDC operation, maximum 80 amps. 210 in-oz (148 N-cm) of stall torque. 5500 no load RPM. For most engines up to 0.60 cubic inches (10 cc) and many to 1.20 cubic inches. No. S601.

Dynatron Starter. The most powerful Sullivan 2.50" starter. Features a machined aluminum drive cone with pulley groove, 2.50" diameter steel body and gold end caps. 12 or 24 VDC operation, maximum 80 amps. 340 in-oz (240 N-cm) of stall torque at 12V, 680 in-oz (480 N-cm) at 24V. 4800 no load RPM at 12V, 9600 no load RPM at 24V. For most engines up to 2.4 cubic inches (40 cc). No. S603.

Boat Starter with Model 4 Motor. Designed for starting all belt-start boat engines, this starter features a steel handle, steel end plates and a stepped aluminum drive pulley. The starter can be operated on 12V or 24V, maximum 100 amps. Output is 600 in-oz (424 N-cm) at 12V, 1200 (848 N-cm) at 24V. 2800 no load RPM at 12V, 5600 no load RPM at 24V. For most belt start marine engines. No. S650.

Megatron Starter. Using the same Model 4 motor as the Boat Starter, this starter is designed for large R/C airplane engines. It can handle engines up to 80 cc or 4.90 ci, depending on engine condition and compression ratio. It has two steel handles, steel endplates and a 3" aluminum cone with silicone rubber insert. The starter can be operated on 12V or 24V, maximum 100 amps. Output is 600 in-oz (424 N-cm) at 12V, 1200 (848 N-cm) at 24V. 2800 no load RPM at 12V, 5600 no load RPM at 24V. No. S651.

Megatron with Belt Reduction. 4:1 Drive Ratio provides huge starting torque. Ball Bearing design for maximun efficiency. Suitable for most engines to 160 cc. No. S652.

Limited Warranty information: All Sullivan starters are warranted for two years from date of purchase. Within this period we will either repair or replace the starter (our option) if defective in materials or workmanship. After two years, we will quote a price to repair damaged starters. We carry most parts for all Sullivan starters. Simply return the starter (insurance is recommended) to Sullivan Products, Attn: Starter repair, 1 North Haven Street, Baltimore, MD 21224. Special items

It is possible to put a starter handle on a Dynatron motor. We offer single and double handle kits to retrofit the Dynatron. The single handle kit costs $19.85 plus shipping.

The Double Handle kit costs $25.87 plus shipping.
