Skylite Wheels are made by a unique process that makes them both light and durable. They have a urethane outer skin and a foam core, so they can support heavy loads without going flat. The hubs are all overdesigned and can be drilled out to larger axle sizes. Also, all of the larger sizes (3-1/2" and up) are made with two piece Nylon or Aluminum hubs to ensure that the tire cannot come off the rim on heavier aircraft.
Skylite tires are preferred by many competition flyers for appearance and performance. Sullivan makes the widest range of sizes, from the 1/2" tailwheel to the 7" Aluminum-Hubbed Skylite.

Small Skylite Wheels Skylites are the originator of the urethane skin/foam filled lightweight tire technology. These tires are very strong and durable, yet weigh much less than regular rubber tires. The one-piece Nylon hubs are overdesigned and can be drilled out to the next axle size. |

Medium Skylite Wheels with Aluminum Hubs These Skylites have heavy duty self centering aluminum hubs with Delrin bearings. The hubs can be disassembled if desired. The S850 is the hub only, which can replace the plastic hub in the S879 to S883 series. |

Large Skylite Wheels These Skylites are for large aircraft. They are scale in profile and appearance, and feature strong aluminum six-bolt hubs. The Delrin bearing can be drilled out as needed, and there are ball bearing pockets on each end if the builder wants to add bearings. The hubs can be removed if a custom hub is to be installed. |
